Did you know that it is made from the inner bark of a mulberry tree.
We would like to share our tapa cloth designs with you

Pepeha

Earlier in the year we learnt our pepeha.
A pepeha is when you tell others about yourself in Maori.

Our School Motto

We have introduced a new school motto this year.
Using comic life, we took photos to role play situations where we are upholding our motto :To Love to Learn and To Serve.

Rocky Shore Trip

At the end of Term 1 we had a syndicate trip to Waipu Cove to look at the rocky shore community. This was a fantastic place to find lots of sea creatures living in their natural habitat. The highlight of the day was seeing an octopus hiding in a small rock pool!
See if you can find it in one of our photos!

In Term One our topic was Communities. We studied the Rocky Shore Community.
We read a cool book called What am I? So we decided to make up our own clues and facts about sea creatures from the Rocky Shore.
