Shrove Tuesday

The day before Ash Wednesday (the beginning of Lent) is called Shrove Tuesday. Traditionally people would clean out their cupboards of fat, butter and eggs. They would make pancakes, pies or pastries.
We decided to make pancakes. Yum!
