Diving Deeper

The children in Room 13 who participated in the Diving Deeper programme were involved in The Auckland Zoo Web Quest. They had to suggest an animal that they thought should be in our zoo. They had to research information about the animal and present their findings as a keynote presentation. Here are some examples

Maori Kite Making

Our Diving Deeper Maori group made Manu Taratahi with Mark Dashper and Mrs Wendt. We made a movie describing the process that we went through. We used authentic materials to make our kites and even tried to fly them!

Paper Making

In Term 2 we were involved in a Sustainability unit. As part of this unit we learnt to make paper with Mrs Cutforth. Below is a quicktime a group of children made to show the process of paper making.
